The bateaux (boats) on the sea.
There's nothing sadder than a landlocked pirate . . .Actually this was a lady out for a stroll on the beach. I liked her outfit. It stands out in front of the blue Mediterranean sea.
This dog was a riot. His supreme goal in life was to get somebody to throw something for him into the water, then he would splash in and get it (or try.) He just patroled up and down the coast canvassing people to do his deed. Many people obliged him. The French are very dog friendly.

I'm glad I can still hear from you via your site...unless you don't want me to.
(Ron's been deleting my comments - that why I say that.)I'm done at the BHFH. It's never been the same for me since my banning.
THESE PHOTOS ARE GORGEOUS!!!
I needed a mini-vacation today too...thank you. You take some amazing photos my friend!

I pray he finds peace, contentment and happiness.
I loved the concept of that site though - I REALLY did. It's a shame.
Now - do you develop your own film at all? I did that for a while - loved it. Took a bunch of courses in college. I have decided though, that digital is my very favorite thing! I JUST got my photographer Dad to go digital - he's like a new man! I told him he'll never EVER ask the q again : "Do I have enough film?" There's only one word for that in my book: SQueeeeee!
I really enjoy your site - how much longer will you guys be in France?
I read Dooce @ dooce.com alot. She's a terrific writer, mom and shutterbug too - check out her photography - it's funny, cute and inspiring. I think you might like her photos. She's in Utah though..not near as gorgeous as Spain and France...but she does some great work.
Talk to you later!
I can smell, taste and feel the sea in these shots. Is it warm enough to swim? Must be, you're in the south.
Will you get to Holland at all with the bulbs now blooming? Keukenhof is amazing (huge, but unbelievable). You can order unique bulbs as gifts for not too much $$ and they will be sent to the US in time for planting.
Also, the bluebell forest near Halle, Belgium is wonderful at this time of year. The purple of wild wood-hyacinths against new green foliage. Ahhhh. And it smells heavenly. I miss certain aspects of living there.
