Cool Macro / Micro Photography Gadgets

I’ve been interested in Macro Photography for a long time so I finally broke down and invested in some relatively cheap equipment .

1. Automatic extension Tube set, 13mm, 21mm and 31mm tubes to move my lens away from my camera sensor. This enables me to focus in close on objects.

2 . Focusing rail that enables me to focus and move my camera back and forth on a micro level.

 

 

I ran around my house looking an insect and couldn’t find any!  This would normally be a proud declaration to make but today it’s a little disappointing.

 

I did pull a dead hydrangea flower from my tree and found a piece of coral I had laying around for some experimentation.

 

I love this stuff! This was my first attempt. I can’t wait to hack some food up or capture an unsuspecting bug to turn my lens on .
