Bad hair day for my dog

I try to resist waving around the the bazillion photos I take of my dog. Sometimes it's because she's doing something so cute that I want to capture it and other times she's the only one who will sit for me and my annoying hobby, but she finds herself in front of my lens a lot.   

Today it was because I got a new lens for my camera and I wanted to try it out. It's a Nikkor 50mm 1.8D prime lens and it seems like it will work well for portraits. Thank you Chanel for posing.
