Another Trolley Museum Day.
I worked at the Trolley Museum for a day again this year. It was a lot of fun. I helped build a flower bed framed by railroad ties, which got washed away by the hurricane flood a few days later.
I went to school down in NYC during the early 1980's. The fact that some of the cars that I probably rode on are now sitting in a museum makes me feel . . .I don't know.. ..old?
We used this cart to move railroad ties, believe it or not it pushed real easy. We referenced the Ernest Borgnine movie "Emperor of the North" throughout the day....." But now I'm going to show you what happens to people who ride on my train without a ticket".
I got to work with my buddy Russ. He was having fun with the Halloween decorations.
I love rust - We should rust instead of wrinkle. Just a thought.
There was a lot of beefy iron for some steam punk shots.
If you closed your eyes you could almost smell the miasma of vomit and hydraulics.
Russ is great guy to have a around a camera, he just doesn't care. .
