It was a beautiful day and I was just itching to take a picture. These are flowers (irises I think) that are growing in our side yard.

wow, gorgeous. i wish OUR irises looked this good. last year, they didn't bloom at all. word has it from our green thumb friend that we need to add bone meal to the soil. i hope he's right!

i recently started reading (for the 2nd time!) van gogh's complete letters, so i'm really VG conscious these days.
Thanks fronnnko, I have roses and other flowers too. They bloom like crazy here. I don't know about bone meal unless maybe somebody's buried underneath the bed.
I always loved Van Gogh too. I hope you've heard Mclean's "Starry Starry night. He had so much talent and died not knowing it.
