Derelict crane

I've just haven't been inspired by the snow enough to take pictures of it yet. This is a photograph of an old crane I took in the Rondout Creek this last summer while I was on a boat ride. I was playing with some Photoshop filters on it and liked the effect.

I'm a sucker for pictures of things that seem abandoned. Maybe I feel the longing. Maybe I have a thing for rust. Maybe I shouldn't think too much about this.

I hear you. When I go walking w/camera I am looking for old, rusty, oxidized, abandoned, broken and decaying subjects. They are beautiful and graceful in their defiance.
