Book Cover: Lies At Six by Sarah Scott
I did a book cover recently for west coast author Sarah Scott.
The novel is about a TV news reporter (Jolie Marston) who finds herself in a murder mystery.
The novel is called Lies At Six
Sarah was very nice to work with and it proved to be a fun and educational project. She wanted something with a TV studio feeling and after playing around with pixelated anchors and camera lenses we settled on a control panel with studio lights and camera.

My first effort (below) proved to be a bit cluttered and we wanted the news anchor to be more anonymous.
Also the control panel just had too much distraction going on. This was the fun part, because I ended up building the control panel in Photoshop so that it is completely CGI except for some of my photographs added into the small screens.

Like a said earlier Sarah was a pleasure to work with on this project, and the CGI was educational and pushed my PS skill a bit.
