The world from an 8mm perspective

I like weird lenses. So in one of my crazy moments I bought a Samyang 8mm fisheye lens. I've struggled with this lens in the past because it is difficult to work. Focus is manual, and visually hard  because everything is so far away. Aperture and f-stop is different then you would think. I would take it out and play with it experimentally but nothing would come of the photos. I finally kind of  'got' how it worked so I brought it with me to Cape May. When it came to our first walk on the beach I decided that was the lens I would take. It was fun and rewarding at the end.
