Spring has sprung and the Nikkor lens are in bloom. I picked a nice 70-300mm 4-5.6 Zoooooom. So, this was a test drive shot. I took some "bird in tree" shots just to see how the lens performs at various speeds and distances. Over all I am very pleased. It is everything I hoped for in a Zoom. I was most impressed with its performance taking close shots like this. I can't wait for the next barb-b-que where I can quietly sit off in a corner and gets some candid shots of my friends skin pores. Like I expected, at max mm (300) camera shake comes into play so I should be prepared with a tripod. The laws of physics apply.
