A Fall Hike up Huckleberry Ridge In the Catskills (Long Title)

We took a fall hike. It’s not peak color yet but the day was beautiful so we sallied forth.

Huckleberry Ridge has the kind of lookout (vista) that knots your stomach and locks your knees when you near the edge for a peek.

It puts you in the unusual position of looking down at birds.

The leaves were in various degrees of fall colors. ..waiting to pop.
