Book Cover: The Hunt For Owl Eyes

I did a new cover for Buzz Thielemann's book
The Hunt For Owl Eyes (Amazon) (Barnes&Noble).
Buzz runs an energy company in Oregon called RHT Energy Solutions. He is a licensed thermographer and uses thermal IR imaging to locate insulation weak spots in buildings. He  wrote a techno-thriller novel about that subject. 

Of course we needed to use Thermal IR on the cover, so he used his FLIR® T400 camera to photograph his son in various action poses.

We then assembled it for his cover.

One of the fun aspects of this project was that I had to construct a rifle scope for photoshop that I could move around the image.

This is me about ready to receive a head shot with the same rifle scope.

Buzz was great to work with and it's a pleasure to see his book published.
