The Journey

Once again I was struck by inspiration while walking the dog. Someone's footprint (perhaps mine ) caused a snow density / melt situation that I found interesting. Maybe it represents an allegory depicting life's journey from birth to death and the ephemeral legacy we leave behind. . . Or maybe . . the pedestrian (perhaps me) should lose some weight so they don't crush snow into little glaciered ice ages that remain after the spring thaw. These were the questions I asked; unfortunately, my only companion at the time was my dog. I don't doubt the wisdom of my dog. In fact, I felt enlightened by her provocative silence.
