What I did instead of shoveling snow.
I’m still not inspired by this winter enough to aim my lens at the snow, but I was getting the urge to hear the harmonious duet of the camera shutter and the reflex mirror. I decided to photograph water.
Photographing water droplets has been done thousands of times but never by me. I’ve always wanted to try it. So with a minor amount of research and all the tap water I needed I set out for my workshop on a mission. It was harder than I thought it would be, but a lot of fun.
Tech Notes:
Used a 20mm extender ring for my lens to make it ‘macro’.
Depth of field was hard to control.
