THE WHITE HOUSE

The White House – Top Domain, The big Hacienda, Casa de Blanco.  We stopped by, unannounced because that’s how we roll.
The key was still hidden under the spackle bucket behind the porch swing. It’s been hidden there since 1975 when Jerry Ford locked himself out and was nearly shot by secret service while he was climbing in through the dog door. We figured we would buzz in and use the bathroom real quick, no harm, no foul.  
Nice digs! Oval rooms give the appearance of space. I read that in Home and Garden.
I made a quick call to the hotel to see if they got the fire out and the maid un-stuck from the ice machine (long story.)  Then we took a wrong turn on the way out and ended up in the press room.
  Apparently, there are cc cameras in there because the guards showed up real quick. They must have known we were tourists because they hammed it up for us with the gun pointing and yelling.
We got to keep the tie-wrap handcuffs they eventually cut off of our wrists. That's a souvenir with a story!
